Development and simulation of ad-hoc networking techniques in a swarm of cubesats

Cubesat constellations or swarms are emerging for flexible, reconfigurable and cost-effective space applications. Efficient inter-cubesat communication is required for such application. The purpose of the study is to compare the performance and efficiency of several networking protocols (ZigBee, Bluetooth, Wifi, …), in order to optimize the connectivity and the data rate within a swarm.
