Development and Simulation of Duplex Schemes and Protocols for Inter-Satellite Links in LEO Constellation

The use of LEO-to- LEO inter-satellite links in a LEO satellite constellation enables to decrease the latency of the collected information and to ensure near real-time communications with Earth. The purpose of the study is to compare the performance and efficiency of several duplex schemes (time or frequency division) and protocols (in particular the routing protocols), in order to optimize the download of on-board data.
